Even with regular shower wall scrubbing, mopping, countertop cleaning, tiles get dirty regardless. We have a homemade grout cleaning solution that if done properly will prove to be a great fix. The solution is a follows:
- Half a cup of white vinegar
- Half a cup of dish soap
- Heat the cup of vinegar for one minute and then pour in the dish soap
- Apply to grout lines
- Let it sit for a few minutes
- Wipe off with a wet cloth
This is a no scrub solution but, the best one before that. It helps lift up the dirt thanks to the acidic powers of vinegar. The dish soap helps get it slimy and easy to take off. One exception is that this solution cannot be used with natural stone because it may damage it. Before using this solution test it in a small area where it isn't that noticeable to make sure that it works properly. By following these steps it should make your grout and tile lines clean and looking nice.
